Franklin Method® Workshops

It is common knowledge that muscles and joints need movement to be healthy. However, the idea that organs need exercise has been largely ignored. Organs are simply thought to either function well or not.

The Franklin Method® distinguishes itself by focusing on imagery, self-touch and movement exercises that can be performed in any movement setting. All types of imagery are used to promote motivation, movement and general health. The Franklin Method demonstrates that embodying function improves function.

Many complaints and pains that appear to be located in muscles, joints and ligaments can actually originate from problems within the organs. What is the nature of these dysfunctions? They can be physiological in origin or be caused by disease. Commonly, however, their origin is due to an imbalance in the tone, movement and position of the organ within the body.
